Mikołaj Górny will conduct a workshop for MMC Polska.

On March 3, the two-day workshop “Relations Between Investment Fund Companies (TFIs) and Depositaries in Light of Regulations, Liability and Market Practice”, organized by MMC Polska, will begin. One of the speakers will be Mikołaj Górny – Lawyer in the Capital Markets Law Department at Sadkowski i Wspólnicy.

Our expert’s presentation, titled “Aligning Polish Capital Market Regulations with EU Standards – Implementation and Practical Implications”, will take place on the first day of the workshop (March 3) at 1:00 p.m. During the session, the following topics will be discussed, among others:

• the relationship between the domestic legal framework and EU directives and regulations (MiFID II, DORA),
• standards in the area of fiduciary functions and asset management,
• the impact of EU law on the supervisory practice of the Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego and the compliance policies of TFIs.
