Amendment to the Act

On February 21, the Sejm passed a draft law regarding the conditions for the admissibility of assigning work to foreigners.

Additional Grounds for Refusing a Work Permit

A work permit for a foreigner may be refused if:

• The foreigner will not be employed by a temporary employment agency operating in accordance with Polish regulations.
• The work will be performed for a third party (e.g., a client).

Case of IT Specialists

• This also applies to IT specialists working at the client’s premises.
• There is a need to adjust cooperation models with the client.
