Since November 1, 2024, entrepreneurs can apply for contribution holidays, which means they can be exempted from paying social security contributions for one, any chosen month.

However, be careful! If an entrepreneur has provided services to a former employer within the last two years, they lose this right. The concept of a “former employer” lacks a time limitation, which may cause problems for entrepreneurs who wish to take advantage of the contribution holiday.
