The Act of March 20, 2025, on the Labor Market and Employment Services imposes new obligations and significant restrictions on employment agencies operating in the field of job placement and temporary work for foreigners.

• Act of 4 april 2025 on amending certain acts in order to eliminate irregularities in the visa system of the republic of Poland

The Act of April 4, 2025, Amending Certain Acts to Eliminate Irregularities in the Visa System of the Republic of Poland is the Polish government’s response to the so-called visa scandal that occurred several years ago. The Act sets out the rules for issuing visas
and granting temporary residence permits to students and workers from non-European Union countries.

• Act of 24 april 2025 amending the act on foreigners and certain other acts

The Act of April 24, 2025, Amending the Act on Foreigners and Certain Other Acts constitutes the implementation of a European Union directive on the new rules for granting the so-called EU Blue Card, i.e., a temporary residence permit for employment in a highly qualified profession, as well as short-term and long-term mobility for EU Blue Card holders.
