Last Friday (29.11), a debate titled “Europe Closes the Door. Migration Opportunities and Dilemmas” took place, organized by the European Parliament Office in Poland.

During the event, the Sadkowski and Partners law firm was represented by Zuzanna Nowak – Senior Specialist in the Immigration Law Department, and Aleksandra Jucha – Junior Specialist in the Immigration Law Department.

Our experts had the opportunity to listen to a panel discussion featuring:

  • Piotr Czaban – member of the Podlaskie Volunteer Humanitarian Ambulance,
  • Dr. Hanna Machińska – former Deputy Commissioner for Human Rights,
  • Jolanta Szymańska – Coordinator of the European Union program at PISM,
  • Paweł Łapiński – analyst at the Jagiellonian Club.

The issue of migration in contemporary Europe is a broad and controversial topic. You can read about Poland’s migration policy for the years 2025-2030 in the newsletter of the Immigration Law Department at Sadkowski and Partners.
