Our expert points out that the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy has announced changes to short-term rental housing. In a published speech, the Minister pointed out that housing used for “hotel” services contributes to the price of long-term rentals, and that the tax system should discourage short-term rentals, and announced the introduction of a register of premises used for this purpose.
