Alicja Michalec

She gained professional experience in law firms in Katowice starting from her second year of studies, providing comprehensive legal services to businesses and individuals in the fields of civil law, commercial law, and public procurement law. She has experience in representing clients before common courts in civil and commercial proceedings, including cases related to transport law, compensation claims for contractual or tort liability, and matters concerning the activities of insurance companies.

In 2021, she completed postgraduate studies at the University of Silesia in the field of Public Procurement Law and Public-Private Partnerships. She applied the knowledge gained during these studies in supporting public contracting authorities in organizing and conducting public procurement procedures, as well as providing legal advice to contractors participating in proceedings under the Public Procurement Law. She assisted contractors both during the pre-selection phase of the best offer and in relation to legal remedies available under the law.

She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia in Katowice, where she defended her master’s thesis at the Department of Civil and Family Law. Since 2024, she has been a legal advisor (Radca Prawny) at the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Katowice.
