Bartosz Żak-Stefanowski

Since the beginning of his professional career, he has focused on broadly understood private commercial law, with particular emphasis on corporate law and M&A transactions. He also has extensive experience in providing ongoing corporate legal services and advising on competition (antitrust) law matters.

Prior to joining the firm, he gained professional experience at other law firms in Kraków specialising in commercial and corporate law.

He is a recipient of academic awards in legal competitions organised by the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University. He actively participates in national academic conferences on commercial and corporate law and has organised a nationwide M&A competition, as well as numerous workshops within the Commercial and Corporate Law Scientific Association of the Jagiellonian University Law Students’ Society (TBSP UJ).

He graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University. During his studies, he was awarded the Rector’s Scholarship for Outstanding Students on three occasions. He completed his advocate traineeship with the Kraków Bar Association and is admitted to practise as an Advocate in Poland.
