The abusive practices in the real estate market regulations have come into effect

07.08.2024 / News / Real Estate

As of August 1, 2024, the abusive practices i the real Estate market regulations are in force, aiming to protect the interests of buyers in newly developed real estate investments.

Key changes

The amendment concerns the regulation of April 12, 2002, on the technical conditions that buildings and their location should meet. According to the latest changes, developers are required to:

  • Maintain an increased distance from the plot boundary in the case of multi-family buildings over four above-ground floors
  • Build a playground (also accessible to people with special needs) next to multi-family residential buildings with more than 20 apartments
  • Maintain a minimum floor area for commercial premises

Challenges for entrepreneurs

The change in regulations regarding the technical conditions of buildings may pose a significant challenge for developers and the PRS sector, who must apply the new legal requirements in their future investments. In such a situation, the Real Estate Law Department of Sadkowski and Partners Law Firm offers substantive support. We encourage you to contact us!
