The HR Group Meeting of the Katowice and Małopolska BCC Chambers now behind us!

Yesterday, in our law firm office in Katowice we hosted another meeting of the HR Group of the Katowice and Małopolska BCC Chambers titled ‘Changes in labour law: how to prepare your company for upcoming revolutions in the labour code?’ organized in collaboration with the Business Centre Club. The event was led by Marcin Frąckowiak, Managing Counsel and Attorney-at-law in the Labour Law Department at Sadkowski and Partners.

Topics discussed

During the substantive part of the meeting, the following topics were discussed:

  • Announcement of a shorter workweek,
  • Obligations to equip computer workstations, including for remote employees,
  • Whistleblower protection and related employer obligations,
  • Elimination of court fees for labour law lawsuits and the consequences of this change,
  • Care leave, time off due to force majeure, and other work exemptions.

Summary

We thank everyone for their numerous attendance at the event, which provided an opportunity for freely establishing new contacts and exchanging experiences!
